Correspondence Self-Paced Studies
Welcome
Correspondence self-paced study provides the opportunity to earn college-level course credit without attending regularly scheduled on-campus classes. Students can enroll in a course at any time, and the six-month or nine-month enrollment period allows students to complete course work at their own pace.
Important Announcements
Graduation Deadlines
To complete a graduation requirement, all work in this course, including the final exam, must be completed two full weeks (or 10 business days) before grades are due for faculty during the semester in which the student is attempting to graduate. To locate due dates for grades, please visit the Academic Calendar for students and locate "Final Grades Due at Noon" at the bottom of the calendar.
Testing During COVID-19
Our office is transitioning to online proctoring for correspondence courses. During this transition, and due the COVID-19 pandemic, correspondence students will be taking at-home alternative exams or assignments in place of their traditional exams. This is a temporary measure as we transition to online proctoring. Please visit the Testing Page for more information.
Non-Texas Residents
Due to new federal regulations, we are limited in the enrollments we are able to accept from students residing outside of the State of Texas. Please contact the Office of Distance and Extended Learning before submitting your enrollment application to confirm that we are able to enroll you in our program.
New Course Offerings
See our Course Offerings page for updates on Correspondence Self-Paced course offerings.
ITAC Service Desk
