The Texas State Office of Distance and Extended Learning is proud to offer our courses to students at a cost that is among the lowest in the nation. Here you will find a detailed listing of all course fees, miscellaneous fees, and other charges.
Course fees for all correspondence self-paced study courses are $251.21 per semester credit hour for undergraduate courses and $301.21 per semester credit hour for graduate courses. Students enrolled in online courses will pay an additional online fee of $10 per credit hour.

Returned Checks: If a check is returned for reasons other than an admitted bank error, you must repay within 10 days with a cashier's check, money order, or credit card. A $30 service fee will be assessed and must be included with your payment. You may pay either in person at the cashier's windows on the first floor of the J.C. Kellam Building, or by mailing the payment to the following address:

You must then present the paid receipt at the Office of Distance and Extended Learning to get your record cleared.
When determining the total cost of a correspondence self-paced course, it is important to consider not only enrollment and course fees, but also the cost of course materials and textbooks. Course materials and textbooks are not included in the course fee.
